H-2B Visa USA
The H-2B Program helps businesses fulfill its seasonal and/or high peak staffing needs with qualified individuals from all over the world on the H-2B temporary work visa. Participants may work for up to 10 months, depending on an employer’s need. Employers compensate H-2B workers with the prevailing rate of pay for regular full-time employees in the same positions. Employers are also able to request the same eligible workers year after year to reduce time spent on training, and allow for continuity in the workplace each season.
The H-2B Program to match U.S. employers who have extended seasons with international participants seeking short-term work opportunities. However, the increasing regulatory complexities and politicization of the H-2B Visa made it more challenging for U.S. seasonal employers.
